Virginie’s stylistic approach uses minimalism, and a carefully considered analytical naivety. first, the viewer notices the childish nature of her work and its visual simplicity, but the immersion in the symbolic space of these drawings reveals their completely different, almost paradoxical nature. The deconstruction of Virginie’s drawings discloses how visual simplicity underscores the extremely complex and endless question and mystery of existence. A bit haiku and a bit mantra, the ensembles depicted produce a form of visual poetry.
