In the first Majlis, we welcome author Leena Al-Nasser and illustrator Haidar Al-Haibie , who are joined by poet and writer Jumana Al-Gassab for an evening of storytelling, reflection, and imagination. Together, they will dive into the dreamy narratives of An Imaginary Place Called Home, Leena’s debut book featuring nine stories that weave together history, psychology, and philosophy. More than a collection of tales, this book is an ode, a love letter, an offering—pouring water to our long-forgotten mother: the imagination. Join us as in this panel discussion where we uncover the deeper meanings within the book, the magical creative process behind it, and what lies ahead for the author and illustrator.
