• Explore different playful drawing methods through a series of exercises designed to encourage a more intuitive, carefree, and ‘looser’ drawing style.
• Discussion of artists that draw from memory.

About the instructor:

Omnia Elamir, is a visual artist whose work spans a range of mediums, primarily through assemblage and the construction of various materials and objects. She holds a BA in Visual Design from Bahrain Polytechnic. Her practice explores themes of memory and language, often drawing from personal experiences and social observations. She is particularly interested in questioning norms and their historical and psychological implications in relation to today’s global landscape. Through her work, she aims to reveal the timeless conditions of being alive.
