Al Riwaq offers consultation sessions with Wells, open for artists and practitioners at various stages of their careers. The experience is personalized to fit the purpose of each individual and their goal from the consultation.

Our service aims to provide you with the professional and artistic expertise to help you move forward. Wherever you are in your creative journey, the consultation can guide you or introduce new perspectives or connections through the 1-1 discussion, knowledge sharing and resourcing.

William Wells is the Director of Educational Programs & Exhibitions at Al Riwaq. He is a curator, writer, and art critic. Wells set up the Townhouse Gallery, Cairo, in 1998 to promote contemporary art in Egypt. He served as an educational advisor to the UK’s Arts Council and Crafts Council. Wells sits on the board of the Foundation for Arts Initiatives, is the Chairman of the Townhouse Foundation in Sweden, and is currently Director of Educational Programs and Exhibitions at Al Riwaq.
